Welcome from the President

Welcome to NEPOMAK!

When I was elected President of NEPOMAK in 2014, I made it my goal to continue to build NEPOMAK a truly global organisation with a solid grass roots foundation. As our regional organisations continue to grow in strength, it is great to see so many young and talented individuals, from across the world, getting involved in our activities.

NEPOMAK was founded on two broad commitments:

  • A commitment to promote our history, culture and language in the diaspora

  • A commitment to the people of Cyprus in their struggle to find a just and viable solution to the Cyprus issue,

and I am pleased to inform you that we continue to honour these commitments.

The challenge we face in seeking to preserve Cypriot history, culture and identity in the diaspora is a significant one – and we are continually challenging ourselves to come up with new and innovative ways to do so, from Cypriot Nights out to football tournaments.

We also recognise our commitment to the people of Cyprus and their struggle to find a just and viable solution to the Cyprus problem, by working with international bodies and local decision makers to promote the struggle of the people of Cyprus.

I am proud to say that NEPOMAK truly is a global organisation with a breadth of activities.

I hope that you will find this website useful and that it will enlighten you on our main aims, key activities and give you more insight on the NEPOMAK organisation as a whole. We are always welcoming and encouraging new individuals to get more involved in our committees and activities, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch with your local representatives or email me directly ( should you be interested.
